Job Description
Trillium Construction is seeking Stainless Welders for a short-term tank repair project in Janesville, MN.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform stainless flux welding on tank components.
- Change out seals on an existing tank.
- Replace a carbon steel tank bottom with a stainless steel tank bottom and reseal the tank.
- Perform welding in vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions.
- Follow site safety procedures and maintain a safe work environment.
- Work in and around tank and confined-space operations as required.
Project Duration: September 11-20
Night shift starts 9/15.
Weld test 9/9/2026. Orientation 9/10/2026. Start on 9/11.
Requirements
- 3+ years of stainless flux welding experience.
- Tank welding experience preferred, but not required.
- Ability to pass a 3-position weld test.
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening.
- Must be willing to work extended hours and night shift as needed.
- Weld test includes vertical, horizontal, and overhead positions using 309 carbon-to-stainless with flux and bend testing.
