Job Description

We are currently hiring 3 experienced Working Electrical Foremen for a long-term commercial electrical project in South Carolina.

This position is for a hands-on foreman who can lead a crew while also working in the field. We are not looking for superintendents or individuals who only perform administrative duties. Candidates must be comfortable working with tools, directing electricians, coordinating daily tasks, and communicating with project management.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
  • Lay out electrical work and assign daily tasks to the crew
  • Lead electricians and mechanics while also performing electrical work
  • Monitor productivity, quality, and job progress
  • Communicate daily progress to project management
  • Track time-and-material work and complete accurate daily reports
  • Identify and request materials needed for upcoming work
  • Coordinate with construction management to identify delays, obstacles, and available work areas
  • Ensure installations are completed safely and according to project standards
  • Maintain a productive and professional work environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as an Electrical Foreman, Working Foreman, or Lead Electrician
  • Strong commercial or industrial electrical experience
  • Experience installing and laying out EMT conduit
  • Experience running conduit from pipe to tray, pipe to box, and equipment
  • Experience with basket tray, cable tray, supports, and hangers
  • Ability to bend conduit accurately and maintain high-quality installations
  • Ability to manage and motivate a small electrical crew
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must have basic electrical tools and reliable transportation
  • Must be dependable, safety-conscious, and available to work overtime
